Anyone use this model? is it easy to use and program without having to buy the software.

Most of these digital scanners are much easier to program with a computer and are rather cumbersome to program by hand.  This is particularly true when programing alpha tags.

Went ahead and ordered this scanner without the software. Should be hear Friday. I guess it will be comming pre-programed so I hope I dont need any of the software.
